The Women’s Premier League has a short, sharp playoff system. Finishing position after the league stage decides everything.
The league stage
The five teams play each other twice. Two points are awarded for a win and one for a no result; net run rate separates teams that finish level on points.
Top of the table goes straight to the final
The team that finishes first earns a direct place in the final and a few days’ rest.
The Eliminator
The second- and third-placed teams meet in the Eliminator. The winner reaches the final; the loser is out.
The final
One match decides the title. In 2026, table-toppers Royal Challengers Bengaluru beat Eliminator winners Delhi Capitals by six wickets.
