About women’s cricket player profiles
Player profiles bring together the essentials for the leading batters, bowlers, all-rounders and wicketkeepers in women’s cricket: team, role, batting and bowling style, and career statistics by format.
Career statistics
Statistics are shown separately for Tests, ODIs and T20Is – batting runs, average, strike rate, highest score, fifties and hundreds, and bowling wickets, average, economy and best figures – so you can compare like with like.
Roles explained
Batters are selected mainly for runs; bowlers for wickets, from fast bowlers to spinners; all-rounders contribute with both; and wicketkeepers take the gloves, often batting in the top order too.
Franchise cricket
Many of these players also appear in the WPL, the Women’s Big Bash League and The Hundred, so their profiles connect international and franchise careers.
